Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data tiered-pricing.com collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website, the demo store at demo.tiered-pricing.com, and the Tiered Pricing Table for WooCommerce plugin.

Who we are

tiered-pricing.com is operated by U2code (u2code.com), the developer of Tiered Pricing Table for WooCommerce. For anything related to your personal data, contact us at support@tiered-pricing.com or through our contact form.

What we collect and why

Contact form

When you write to us through the contact form we collect your name, email address, the topic of your message, the message itself and, optionally, your website address and licence key. We use this data only to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation for support purposes. Submissions are stored in our website database and emailed to our support inbox. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which analyses your browser and interaction to distinguish people from bots; Google’s privacy policy and terms apply to that processing.

Purchases and licences

Purchases made on this website are processed by Freemius, Inc., our merchant of record. Freemius collects the data needed to complete the order and manage your licence: name, email address, billing country and VAT details, the sites where the plugin is activated, and your payment details. Payment card numbers go directly to Freemius and its payment processors — they never reach our servers. We receive your name, email address, order and licence information so that we can provide updates and support. See the Freemius privacy policy for details.

If you bought the plugin on the WooCommerce.com marketplace, the purchase is handled by Automattic under its own privacy policy; we only receive the information needed to provide support.

The plugin

The plugin itself does not send data from your store to us. If you explicitly opt in to usage tracking when activating a Freemius-powered version of the plugin, Freemius collects your site URL, WordPress and plugin versions, and the admin email address to deliver updates, licence checks and support. You can opt out at any time from the plugin’s account page in your WordPress admin.

Demo store

To create a personal demo store at demo.tiered-pricing.com we ask for your email address, which we use to send you the login details for your sandbox. Each sandbox, including anything you enter into it, is deleted automatically 24 hours after it was created. Please do not enter real customer data into the demo.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type). Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are set for this purpose. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in our Google Analytics account and is not used to identify you.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server records requests (IP address, time, requested URL, browser user agent) in log files used for security and troubleshooting. Logs are rotated automatically and are not combined with other data to identify you.

Cookies and embedded content

  • Essential: WordPress may set a cookie to remember your cookie preferences or keep you logged in if you have an account. The Freemius checkout sets cookies required to complete a purchase.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics cookies described above.
  • Embedded media: the product video on the homepage is hosted on YouTube. When you play it, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect data as described in its privacy policy. Web fonts are served from our own server — no font requests go to third parties.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the site, each bound by its own privacy terms:

  • Freemius, Inc. — checkout, payments, licensing and (if you opt in) plugin usage data.
  • Google — reCAPTCHA, Analytics and YouTube.
  • Brevo — delivery of the emails we send you (contact replies, demo credentials).
  • Our hosting provider — the servers this site runs on.
  • Automattic / WooCommerce.com — for purchases made on the WooCommerce marketplace.

We may also disclose data if required by law.

How long we keep it

  • Contact form submissions and support emails: for as long as needed to handle your request and keep a support history — you can ask us to delete them at any time.
  • Purchase and licence records: for the life of your licence and as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Demo sandboxes: 24 hours.
  • Server logs and analytics: for the rotation/retention periods set in those systems.

Where data is processed

This website is hosted on servers in the United States, and the providers listed above (Freemius, Google, Brevo, Automattic) process data in the United States and/or the European Union. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, these transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these rights, email support@tiered-pricing.com; we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to the website administration and support inbox is limited to the people who need it, and payment data is handled exclusively by Freemius and its payment processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reputable providers and keep software up to date to protect your data.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
